Necessary Documents to Export from México

Used Household Goods
  • Federal Tax Registration Form (just for Mexicans)
  • Copy of their Document FM-2, FM-3, ó FM-16.
  • Copy of their Passport (Citizenship)
  • Copy of airline ticket
  • Declaratory Letter

Diplomatics or International Organization Officers
  • Copy of their Diplomatic passport
  • Original Diplomatic Export Franchise (FRANCHISE)

New Furnitures, Handycrafts and General New Merchandises
  • Original and five copies of the Commercial Invoice, signatures and
    original stamps in all the copies
  • Original Certificate of Origin

National Automobiles
  • Original Commercial Invoice
  • Original Vouchers of Tax Receipts for the last two years (Tenencia)
  • Original Last Cetificate of Antipollution (Cities where program applies)
  • Certificate of Transit Cancelation, given by the Police Department of client´s location
    (To obtain that, Police Dept. will retain the Circulation Card and Licence Plates )

Foreing Automobiles
  • Original Temporary Import Permit with Hologram.
  • Effective copy of the FM-2 or FM-3, or Temporary Import Permit
  • Power of Attorney Letter to Mudanzas Gou, authorizing vehicle transportation

Inheritances
  • Original or Notharized Copies of the Testament (Will), clearly mentioning the name of the client as beneficiary
  • Original or Notarized Copy of Death Certificate
  • Copy of the FM-2, FM-3, Foreign Passport or Mexican Passport of beneficiary.
  • Departure Airplane Ticket

Restricted Articles
  • Weapons, cartridges, only with a Permit (authorization) of the Department
    of National Defense
  • Antiques and Original Paintings, only with Authorization of the National Fine Art Institute or from Antropology and History Institute, further more if antique items [prehispanics].

Forbidden Articles
  • Drugs, pornographic material, alcaholic beverages in grate quantities, political or surversive material, inflammable products, explosives, exotic animals, etc.

Domestic Animals
  • Dogs, cats & birds
  • These ones can be exported providing a Sanitary Certificate from S.A.R.H. (Secretaria de Agricultura y Recursos Hidraulicos), located in the same Port or Airport of exit.
  • To obtain the Sanitary Certificate, the Certificate of Good General Health, and the Certificate of General Vacination it's required the general information of the pet like name, weight, sex, age, race, etc.
  • For another type of animal not mentioned in the above list please check it with Customs and/or corresponding authority before send it, or contact us requiring updated information.

Disected Animals or Hunting Trophies
These will be exported in whichever of these cases :

If they came within an Import shipment and were hunted in a foreing country, and were mentioned on the Shipper´s Import Declaration [pedimento], they can be Exported by providing us with a Copy of the above mentioned document (pedimento), in order to apply for the free releasing of these trophies.

If the animals were hunted and/or disected in Mexico, a permission must be obtained specially from S.A.R.H., for which the client muts submit it's Hunting Permit, that the trophies were hunted during allowed hunting season, not illegally, as well as the the payment receipts to the Taxidermist that disected the animals.

Mudanzas Gou is not authorized to obtain this permits from the S.A.R.H., for this reason, the Client or his Attorney must do the necessary arrangements to obtain them.
